Baby Stuff

I am working on so many projects lately! I cannot wait for the end of May when most all of these are going to be done and over with!!! Wootness, for new patterns, and knitting for babies though! But the time crunch always gets me! I guess it’s good for me though. Keeps me on a schedule!

So here are a few photos of things that went out today.

Baby hats for my old home town hospital…

Hat’s and booties for Salem Hospital in MA

And last but not least hats for the NICU preemies in KY.

Most of the yarn used in all of these hats is from one of my good knitting buddies Barbara. She just asked for postage so she could downsize her stash a little, and it gives me different kinds of yarns that I haven’t seen before.

Then I’ve been working on baby blankets for both friends and family that are having babies in the next few months.  Here’s a sneak peek at one of them…

There will be a full reveal after the mama and daddy have it in their hands!

Besides that there has been much bike riding, and I’ve been working hard on my Etsy shop stuff. I’ve joined a couple of really good Teams on there, and I am making sure I participate as much as I can. Sundays and Thursdays I am spending a half hour in the morning creating a Treasury of sixteen items, and even though I don’t include my own shop, somehow it brings a lot of traffic to my shop. I have also started adding things to my Pinterest (SpinnerMomof5 if you wanna add me), and I’m working really hard to build that up also. Seems like the way to get people to know you have a crafty shop is to go where the crafty people are.

I am also super happy that I have two confirmed craft shows to be a part of in the Fall now. I’m going to be busting my butt all summer getting ready for those, and then the big Christmas rush at Etsy! Whatever doesn’t sell is going to be donated to shelters and soup kitchens, because there ain’t no use having so much inventory sitting around here keeping no one warm! 😛

More pics in a bit.
