The kitties

Today the two of the kitties and mama are at the vet getting things taken care of. We’ve decided just for the ease of vet stuff we’ll call the mama cat Mawmaw! And then both Salmon, and Wicket (formerly Stinker), are in for spaying and neutering today also. Trout, the runt of them all only has one of what he needs for this particular operation, so he will go back in a week or three to see how it’s… ummm… hanging. /snort

So, here are some most adorable pics of them when they were a little smaller, and waaayy cuter. LOL

Wicket: ‘Hey, there’s something under the brick on my side!’

Trout: ‘I see something over here too! I’m gonna try and catch it!’

Wicket: ‘Dude!  Somethin just grabbed my paw! I don’t think this is safe!’

Trout: ‘I definitely got a hold of something! I think I got something!!!’ 😀

‘I think we can fit!’

This is the little cat bed 14 yo dd made for them back in April, or early May.  They fit good in it when they were all like three weeks old. I think they’re about seven weeks in this shot. Now that they’re all around 18 weeks, only one of them at a time can squeeze their butts in this thing. Usually Wicket.

One of the last shots of the kitties playing in the cubby on my desk, that we left in FL.  Salmon is in the front, and derpy lil Trout is trying to get him to play.Image

And here is Mawmaw (formerly Sinker), relaxing on the computer boxes before they were all loaded up in the truck. What a sweetie!

And we found out today that Wicket is a Diluted Tortoiseshell, and that’s the reason shes the only dark colored one in the litter! It’s apparently very rare to have a Tortoiseshell male cat. So two boys that look like mama, and then one wildcard girl cat. The lady said if there had been more girls in the litter, they all probably would have been darker.  And even more cool fun stuff.  Both of the girl cats are getting tattooed today!  Yep, they get a little S tattoo on their ears, in case they ever get loose it will be known that they are spayed by the mark. Interesting, yes? I’ll try and get a pic.
